Center Point, Alabama, adopted the 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), with amendments. Center Point, AL, Muni. Code § 6-27 (adoption) and § 6-32 (amendments).

Section R314.6 Power source is hereby amended with the following language deleted and repealed.

2. Smoke alarms installed in accordance with Section 314.2.2 shall be permitted to be battery powered.
